As you can see with the following 3 pictures, I love playing with the focus on my camera... Capturing things that not everyone sees, or that is in some cases precious, is what I aim to do in my photography.
Below is the ancient paint chipping off the garage door... If you look really closely, you can see a little fuzzy hanging off some paint :)
Here is a close-up of the bark on our 30-some year old tree in the backyard.
I love how you "look" at objects from unusual angles; it gives the observer a fresh view of something that is overlooked as "ordinary" when in fact it is really extraordinary!
